Soil: The Côtes-du-Rhône “Pic & Chapoutier” has an extraordinary richness and complexity because of the diversity of the different soils which grapes are coming from (Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse, Ardèche).The different types of soil are composed of clay and calcareous alluvial deposit terraces, clay… Vinification: The grapes are entirely destemmed. Vatting lasts around 2 weeks that provides a good tannic structure to the wine, allows its ageing and guarantees a good stability. Ageing: The wine is aged in vats.
